Jie Star JJ9221 Oil Pump: Horsehead Pump with Lattice Tower

The Jie Star oil pump recreates a classic pumping unit like those found in oil fields. A red horsehead hangs at the end of a long yellow beam, which rests on a dark lattice tower. Red counterweights, valves, and pipes sit beneath it, while a railing surrounds the Jie Star JJ9221 on sandy ground with plants.

• Iconic silhouette of a pumping unit
• Platform with railing and warning signs
• Desert ground with grasses for a small scene
• Bold color contrasts of red, yellow, and gray
• Pairs well with the refinery from the same series
• Assembled dimensions: 28 x 18 x 24 cm (L x D x H)

Are the Jie Star JJ9221 bricks compatible with the building bricks I already own?

Yes. The Jie Star JJ9221 pump uses standard-size building bricks. Parts from the market leader and other manufacturers will therefore fit on the baseplate. With just a few bricks of your own, you can build an entire oil field.

How challenging is it to build the Jie Star JJ9221?

The Jie Star oil pump can be assembled in just a few hours. First, you build the ground and platform, followed by the lattice tower and gearbox housing with counterweights. The beam and horsehead come last. The 666 pieces include lots of small lattice and railing elements.

Is the Jie Star JJ9221 suitable for children?

Yes. According to the box, the Jie Star JJ9221 is intended for elementary school children. An adult may occasionally need to help with the lattice tower and beam. Industrial enthusiasts of all ages will be happy to display the pump on a shelf.
