Are the Balody 16614 bricks compatible with the building bricks I already own?

No. The Balody 16614 Dilophosaurus is built from Diamond Blocks, a proprietary micro-scale format. Standard building bricks and mini bricks are not compatible. However, the frill has a smooth curve that would be difficult to achieve with larger bricks.

How challenging is it to build the Balody 16614?

Building the Balody Dilophosaurus takes about one or two evenings. The legs and torso form the foundation, followed by the tail and neck. The fan-shaped frill and head complete the model. Its 770 pieces require careful row-by-row counting.

Is the Balody 16614 suitable for children?

Yes. According to the shop, the Balody 16614 is intended for children. Because the bricks are tiny, younger builders need patience and a helping hand. Once assembled, the dinosaur stands firmly and invites lively discussion about prehistoric times.
