Balody 16613 Therizinosaurus: Scythe-clawed dinosaur in pixel style

The Balody 16613 Therizinosaurus stands upright on two sturdy legs. Its back, neck and head are burgundy, while its belly and legs are built in light gray. Its arms reach forward and end in long, dark claws. The open mouth with white teeth and yellow eyes gives it an alert expression.

• Long claws as its distinctive feature
• Upright stance for narrow display spaces
• Color contrast of burgundy and gray
• A rare dinosaur build for enthusiasts
• Fine details from the Diamond grid
• Assembled dimensions: 16.3 x 6.4 x 22.8 cm (L x D x H)

Are the Balody 16613 bricks compatible with the building bricks I already own?

No. The Balody 16613 uses Diamond bricks in its own miniature size. They are not designed to connect with standard or mini sets. The particularly small grid brings out the claws and curve of the neck in fine detail.

How challenging is it to build the Balody 16613?

The Balody Therizinosaurus makes a good project for a quiet evening. Starting with the feet, you work your way up through the body and neck to the head. The arms and claws are attached last. The 724 tiny bricks give the dinosaur a grainy, lifelike surface.

Is the Balody 16613 suitable for children?

Yes. According to the store, the Balody 16613 is approved for children. The pieces are small, so a tray with raised edges can help prevent them from getting lost. Children interested in dinosaurs can use the model to discover a lesser-known species.
